I'd like to point out that that emphasis on individual plays is probably one of the biggest downsides of Gridiron Football. Because the clock usually stops after a player hits the ground or the ball falls to the ground with no one getting it so it's very easy for the game to be dragged out with little action going on, particularly with time-outs and referee challenges. It lends to the rising stereotype of Gridiron Football being a game with one hour of action and two-hours of commercials. Anyway I'm just enjoying my 4-day weekend for now.

Well I've managed to snag a full-time job (for now)so I haven't really been able to be here to comment here, though one of the bosses is having his wedding next week so the office going to be closed for at least some of the time, so maybe I can see what Warhammer related things Applelight is up to.
Anyway it's Superbowl time now, so I'm chowing down on, essentially bar food and not really caring about the game.

Hard not to be.
Even my parents decision to take us all back to Disney World offers no real comfort. Then again it's a couple of weeks away and they still haven't figured out exactly how they are going to do it.

Probably depends on the state. Florida seems to be every 9 years, for some reason.

We don't really have winters in my section of the US, or really any seasons other then Wet, Dry, and Storm(technically apart of Wet). Nor do we often get temperatures below 75F(24C).

I'm just glad to have temperatures below 70F all day for a change. Too bad that's probably not going to last for very long, I'd like to use my "warm" clothes for more then 7 days out of the year.

Ikea has an oddly indoor theme park/amusement center sort of atmosphere to it (I thinkit's the color scheme), so I can understand that.
Also there are really no hard or fast traditions for New Years except staying up to watch an object drop (usually the ball drop in Time Square), fireworks, and drinking.

No baking on our end of things, but my aunt made a wonderful braised ox-tail.
Anyway, Happy New Year to whom ever it's come too already. NA central time zone should be up soon.

The Economics program, at the time, was part of the College of Arts and Sciences, while the Accounting program was part of the School of Business. When I was going in to the Accounting program (a program so "rigorous" it has it's own entrance exam) I was advised against graduating from the Economics program despite having completed since that would have made me technically leave the school temporarily and apparently the School of Business has some funky rules that would have forced me to take more classes if I did that.

My degrees are in Economics and Accounting. I've actually had the Economics degree completed for a couple of years now, but couldn't really graduate with it until my other degree was complete, and that program was much harder.
Also I hope your car is genuinely fixed now. I'd hate for it to be running good now only too break down next month due to mechanic shenaniganry.

The characters are definitely going to be shocked and kind of horrified at the idea at first regardless of what ages they are, but I suppose that could be a point in either direction.
If wanted to tone down the actual Persona "summoning" I could easily pick a method from one of the other games that didn't involve simulated suicide, but I do think the one I put forth is more impactful and thematic, and weirdly synergies with things that happen/ already exist in Gravity Falls.
I guess considering that it probably doesn't matter to much whether the cast is aged up or not, save what direction I would like to push the crossover.

I actually wasn't planning on the characters engaging in anything sexual, despite how I made it sound. It had to do with a specific aspect of Persona where in one of the games the characters activated their special powers by . . . well . . . by essentially shooting themselves in the head. It makes sense in the context of the game, I swear.
Either way I wasn't to sure about how believable having the younger characters do that would be plus it would be rather off putting as well, but I felt like aging them up would both make it more palatable and make the fusion seem much more smooth since the Gravity Falls would be teenagers like (most of) the characters in Persona.
As for how it would be done I would just make all the characters four years older. It makes the younger characters more appropriately aged (the protagonist would be 16 instead of 12) and the older characters would be pretty much unaffected.

So I doubt many of you remember but last year I did a little work on a Persona and Gravity Falls fusion, very odd idea I know. Well, since I have some time off now I think I might do something with it, but there is something that'd like a bit of input with.
You see there are somethings that happened in Persona that I don't think would be appropriate if it was done by the characters of Gravity Falls (particularly the younger characters like Dipper and Mabel). Originally I was just not going to have them do it, but I was recently toying with the idea of aging up some of the characters to be more in line with the characters of Persona. It would certainly open up some interesting possibilities but I'm not sure if it's a smart thing to do or if the audience would be receptive to it.
