I got a Kia Niro. It's called a crossover SUV but it's kind of short to be one. It's a hybrid so I'm hoping to save on gas at least a little.
I'm surprised you would book all of your leave at once. I'd prefer to spread it out throughout the year, but then I have to accrue my leave throughout the year as opposed to getting it all at once.

How do you book a whole month off?
Either way I've actually bought a new car, which is good since our old Volkswagen was about to give out soon anyway, but it ended up being more expensive then we had expected, particularly on the interest and insurance. Oh well, I still like it.
I also booked some time off for the Labor day weekend. I hope to at least have a little fun.

Yeah, it really sucks when new management runs a place into the ground.
I'm actually currently in the process of looking for a new job. I've really grown to dislike my current position, I would almost want to quit immediately if it weren't for the fact that I'd loss my insurance and it would really upset my parents. It also doesn't help that my brother is just coming home from surgery and his future employment is really in question. I really hope that my search doesn't take too much longer, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm still here come September.

"Snow Roasted BBQ"? That sounds like quite the magic trick worthy of fame.

I want to congratulate France and England for fully living up to their top tier status (ish). Still plenty of games to play and frankly it wouldn't surprise me if Germany makes it all the way to the finals and wins again, but I'm kind of hoping for different result. Who knows, maybe Mexico can be the first non-European/ South American team to win. I still think it's pretty unlikely though.
The main things I hope for is that neither Germany, Brazil, or Argentina win and that Russia does not make it out of the Round of 16.

I'm still not sure what the practical effects will be yet, but I imagine the internet is going to get more expensive, slower, and we're probably going to need to pay extra for things like Pandora and Netflix to run decently.
At least that's the impression I've gotten.

So are they supposed to be a completely new race, or are they just the settings dark elves?

I was debating whether or not to go see that. I still got some movie tickets for my birthday and I haven't been interested in seeing much else.

It's been going for a couple of years now, which by anime/manga standards is more or less new.
You sure you don't want to hold on to that stuff for kitbashing purposes? Then again if people are willing to pay that much for a single bit. . .

There is certainly quite a bit to like about it (it has probably the most endearing protagonist I've seen anime in a while and the cast in general is pretty good), but I honestly think I would have liked this series more if it weren't a shonen action series as I think those tropes mix poorly with more traditional super hero tropes (among other things).

It's about a bullied nerd of teen who really wants to be a superhero despite not having superpowers in a world where most people have superpowers. Lucky for him the local Superman-analogue likes the cut of his jib and helps him get into Superhero High School where high adventure and shenanigans happens.
There is way more to it the that, but that's the basic gist of it.

On the other hand companies have supposedly been getting really big into looking into people's social media data when hiring, but I can't imagine they would go that far for a 3 hour (?!) part time position.
As an aside I was recently saw/ read My Hero Academia given all of the hype it's been getting and that fact that it looked kind of cool. It was the first anime series that I took a big interest in in a while. And at this point I can honestly say that I almost like it, there are just a few admittedly critical things that annoy me too much sadly.
On the bright side their fandom does produce pretty good fan fiction.

Gotta love how their helmets have stylized beards on them, presumably to protect their beards. Should look great when they are done.

I'm still surprised that the Patriots didn't eke out a last minute victory like they've always done. Not that it really mattered since I made it a point to be playing Persona 5 rather then watch the game. I've also generally soured on American Football because of it's "stop and go" pace and endless commercials, though I think that last part is a big part of most popular American sports (save Basketball I think).

Will be sometime before I see Episode VIII, if I ever do.
I'm still trying to see Coco before it leaves the theater.
