I enjoyed EQ and RR. I consider this good reason to expect that I'd enjoy this. Besides, I believe that they've earned my trust. They've done well by me so far.

I also agree! For similar reasons.
In other news, I am pleased to announce that I have finally upgraded my internet. I am quite pleased about that.

The vase looks kind of like a face, meaning that the pineapple is it's hair.
(Not enough to explain why it's so popular, but whatever)

Can't remember when I last saw it, but it's been a while. This is both interesting and funny though. I look forward to the next one.

Thanks for the welcome!
Well, this is what my fanverse bible says about crystal ponies:
Crystal ponies are the smallest and second youngest tribe of ponies, only recently (biologically speaking) having split off from earth ponies under rapid evolution which resulted from isolation and extensive exposure to the Crystal Heart. They are similar enough that their magic is mostly the same as earth ponies, though they specialise more in crystals and emotions. Their own bodies happen to be crystalline, which makes them less vulnerable to certain types of injuries, such as cuts, but more brittle, which results in the injuries they do receive tending to be more severe. They are also unusual in that their entire body structure alters with their emotions and they actually glow when in a good enough mood. The youth of the tribe seems to have resulted in their potential not having been fully absorbed by the alicorns yet. That said, they gave rise to an alicorn themselves in the form of the Crystal Queen. She was eventually assassinated by a guest who would later become known as King Sombra. Ironically, some had previously criticised her for keeping the crystal ponies isolated from the other tribes.
Crystal ponies, until recently, lived exclusively within the Crystal Empire. Now that Cadance has been placed on the throne, she has decided to encourage some genetic variability and admixture by encouraging immigration from and emigration to Equestria in order to allow for some mixed families to form.
One of the antagonists from my current fanfic is actually an undead crystal pony doctor.

Okay. 60 pages might be a bit much to catch upon, but I decided to join in. Hi!

Oh, we have one of these? Nice! My fimfiction page is here: www.fimfiction.net/user/SeregMost of my work is in one continuity. Though Many-Trick Pony is ambiguous and practically on hiatus.

Okay, the first question was easy. The others might take some thought
Best episode: A Canterlot Wedding: So epic, great new characters, a great moral and This Day Aria.
Worst episode: Over a Barrel: Ironically, I've re-watched it several times (I actually do enjoy it even despite my issues with it). The Mane Six were basically guests in a show about characters I don't care about and didn't really like. They only served to make everything worse. And the claim that the buffalo's reasons for their actions were as good as the pony's was not only ludicrous but outright offensive to me.
Incidentally, I'm not a Look before you Sleep fan. Rarity came off as annoying and stupid (this was before I liked her), Twilight lost her IQ, I have issues with Truth or Dare and I couldn't really relate to the situation.
Anyway, top five episodes:
1. A Canterlot Wedding
2. Hurricane Fluttershy
3. Lesson Zero
4. Twilight's Kingdom
5. Suited for Success
Fave moment from the show ... I don't know. It's too difficult to judge.

I see the the reason for Crystal pony modern speech as Cadance's powers.
Also, this modern society saved them from Sombra. It must be cool! Let's become more like it!

My main thing is that I can't really see the ponies ever having a need to develop those types of weapons. Artillery stuff is possible because it would be useful on a large scale, but stuff like flintlock guns probably wouldn't ever get popular enough to supplant bows and arrows as the common ranged weapon. Because let's face it, early guns ''sucked''. But when 1/3 of the population has magic, 1/3 can fly, and 1/3 has super-strength, weapons development will follow a different path. Also, the ponies regularly survive stuff that would instantly kill a human in real life; guns might not even be that effective. Exactly what I think. Also, hi! I guess that I'm here now. By the way, on Crystal Ponies earlier, I do see them as a separate tribe from earth ponies. Though similar. I mostly see them as having light and emotion based magic, among other stuff. I could quote from my fanverse bible if you want.
