Bronzong ("Steve", "Bronzonger", "Liberty Bell", "Captain America", "Captain Unova", "The Shadowslayer"):
Steve earned his first nickname when people were discussing what to call him, someone replied "His name's Steve" (or something like that) and it stuck. With the fact that he and Sunshine were the first to catch Pokerus, he was treated as having been treated with Super Serum to become a Super Soldier and combining that with the name Steve and his shape as a bronzor, he became to be seen as Captain America (or at least his shield/or an expy of him). He is typically portrayed as best friends with Moonbat and the two tend to be shown on the sidelines, occasionally snarking. He tends to be seen as the royal guard of the group and, as his name suggests, Unovan. He is also praised for taking out Giratina ho really scared us due to how close we came to losing and the direness of the consequences of doing so (refacing the ledge and the whole distortion (dongstortion) zone. That gave him the ttle of "Shadowslayer" and got him seen as a killer of spooky and creepy things, like ghosts. He is also associated with celebration and the chat emoticons (raise your bronzongers).

Incidently, AgainTheaga says that anticipates a lot of progress this week and that the alpha will be ready soon.
Cyrus:
While similar to his canon version, Cyrus is aware of the Voices and has managed to influence, weaken, disrupt or even outright silence them on various occasions (interpretations of various glitches). He is sometimes portrayed as being able to see through to our world. He is also associated with Miley Cyrus and subject to mockery on how unoriginal his plan to alter reality seems after Bill. His team was the hardest to beat in the game and being beaten by him sent us back before the worst ledge in the game, froze the game and forced a reload of a much earlier save. This was seen as evidence of his power. His generals were often associated with the four horsemen of the apocalypse and they were particularly tough to deal with.
The Court of The Sun:
Napoleon's team quickly gained a theme of the Sun and light and was associated with royalty and their favoured servants. The Sun theme largely came from the sudden use of symbols, especially the Sun, in names, with Sunbrella leading the trend. Some interpret this as being due to Napoleon being less than completely fluent with Kanji, and thus resorting to symbols in writing. It also explains his bad grammar with letters. Speaking of which, this was the first time that the team was armed with mail (letters), which is effectively armour in TPP as it prevents release. This was also the game which had an app with the ability to detect which of your pokemon were attracted to each other. The shippers went nuts.
!☂!!☀! !:1 the Roserade ("Queen Sunbrella")
"You are strong. You will lead my army." - Napoleon.
Sunbrella was the first pokemon that Napoleon caught to end up on his final team. He caught her as a budew and she quickly proved herself in battle, earning a lot of praise and she was eventually selected to be our queen. Sunbrella is also one of the pokemon most associated with Napoleon's change in attitude regarding pokemon. This is particularly heartwarming due to her lonely nature. Sunbrella was the second TPP pokemon to enter a contest (M4 was the first. They both entered cool contests and they both lost, which causes us to complain about stupid biased judges who can't see how cool M4 and Sunbrella are). She is thought of as being motherly and caring and generally a nice leader to the rest of her team, especially Sunshine and friendly and devoted to Napoleon. This was the first run were the trolls were powerful enough to make evolution almost impossible and this quickly became obvious with Sunbrella. Then, in a miracle, the trolls tried to waste time in Napoleon's bag, accidentally giving Sunbrella a rare candy and letting her evolve from a budew to a roselia, marking the first evolution of the run. While using the daycare, Sunbrella had an egg with a recently caught roselia. The fans were surprised but pleased that Sunbrella had gained a love interest that they quickly dubbed "roselio" and began imagining tales of how he had swept his queen off her feet and such. Unfortunately, disaster struck. First, Napoleon rejected the egg. Then, the tie paradox happened, erasing the data to before Roselio was caught. This is generally treated as a tragedy and many were upset that Sunbrella's consort and heir were taken away from her with many deciding that she continues to search for them. Under some interpretations, the egg was saved by Celebi and taken into the past where it grew up to be the wild roselia that swept Camila's entire team once. In the end, Sunbrella helped defeat the Elite Four and she now rules Sinnoh along with Napoleon, though she longs to be reunited with Roselio.

Pearl ("PP", "Pearl Porter", "Pearl Gates"):
Pearl, almost named PP in-game (which was considered to be his initials), is Napoleon's hyperactive, slightly annoying, best bud who shares his gambling vice. He convinced Napoleon to start his journey earlier than planned to pay help pay off his gambling debts. He's also the least muscular person in all of Sinnoh (Napoleon sometimes seems weak, but that's just compared to the native Sinnohans). He's also implied to be a wanted criminal sometimes. He got pliplup and named it "Napkins" as it reminded him of Napoleon.
Dawn:
"Cold is for pussies."
Before the game, for the first time ever, there was a large debate over whether to try being the girl or the boy. The proponents of the boy pointed at Dawn's short skirt and exposed legs and Sinnoh's snowy weather and said that they wanted someone who didn't dress like an idiot. The counter was that Dawn was a total badass who wrestled Ursa and didn't care about stupid things like "cold". This quickly became popular and now Dawn is always seen as an extremely badass and competent wrestler who is probably more powerful than her pokemon. As she was not picked, she is Professor Rowan's assistant and is seen as competent, though willing to use her power to tease. She considers Napoleon and Pearl idiots, especially as Napoleon attacked her pokemon when they were supposed to be teaming up against Galactic, but she is often treated as a potential love interest for Napoleon. She also taught him how to catch pokemon after he had caught some already.

Yeah, I ended up largely dropping midway through Gold/Silver because I just had too much other stuff to do, and when my schedule cleared up, it was too far along to get back into it. One of these days I'll binge through the TVT articles to get a handle on everything. Understood. I do think it's worth it. If you do it before ORAS is released, you'll be up to date and can join in with us. Incidentally, Gym 2 of Pokemon Twitch Version has started, so the alpha release is fast approaching. That said: Twitch Plays Pokemon Platinum: For Platinum, it was decided that Bill should be too busy preparing for Heartgold to interfere too much in order to give his character a bit of a rest and to focus on other things as a kind of side-story that's nevertheless part of the same universe, though he did interfere a bit anyway. Platinum is beloved due to extensive character development, overcoming serious trials, lots of shipping and being the first fully anarchy run. The early events of the run were quite brutal, resulting in people's perception of Sinnoh changing to basically Mordor with ice (Or more intricately, a cross between Mordor, Australia, Russia and Canada with some of the original Japanese remaining). It was seen as a dark, brutal and unforgiving country that Napoleon had to conquer to usher in a new age of light. It was a very dark and stark view of the world by TPP standards, but it was accompanied by a lot of humour. It was also the start of the stadium betting and the Mob's addiction to gambling was quickly imposed on Napoleon and Pearl. Nqpppnl ("Napoleon", "Napoleon Edgeworth", "Nipple", "Nap-kins"): "No, I don't love pokemon." "Big or small, you made all the difference in the world to me." Napoleon (with the embarrassing nicknames of "Nipple" and "Nap-kins") was quickly interpreted as Kalosian and that he had moved to Sinnoh as he intended to conquer it by defeating the gyms. Ironically, Cynthia was not seen as his enemy (in fact, it was implied that she wanted a change in government as well), but as a mentor and cool big sis figure who would only acknowledge that he was ready to rule once he had passed her tests, which included the ability to beat her. Napoleon was sometimes interpreted as actually having the voice of Napoleon Bonaparte in his head, but that was toned down later. He was seen as obsessed with expensive, fashionable clothing and money (especially gambling), but most of the time he tried to remain stoic and dignified. He also tended to fail at that as he kept ending up in ridiculous situations (this was hilarious). The defining moment which set the path which the run would take was when Professor Rowan asked if Napoleon loved pokemon and the mob accidentally replied, "No, I don't love pokemon." This was initially thought of as funny, but quickly became an important part of the lore and set the stage for his character development. Then Pearl and Napoleon each ended up with a starter more like the other trainer. Napoleon was given TM Return and he sold it, thinking that their was no way he and a pokemon could love each other (in one popular interpretation, he even smashed it). Chim-chan his adorable chimchar did not last as the Curse of Fire had become a self-fulfilling prophecy under the power of the trolls and Napoleon was shocked to find himself devastated. But Napoleon never gave up, no matter how bleak things were due to the actions of the trolls. He caught Sunbrella who, along with Cheryl, taught him that pokemon and humans could be friends and he began to love his team, with the footprint doctor confirming that he and Sunbrella loved each other and had an incredible friendship. Being temporarily defeated by Cyrus caused Napoleon to slip into a coma (the game froze as he was near a bed) but his pokemon and the Voices stayed by his side, worrying for him. Time eventually had to be reset (they had to go back to a previous save-state) and Napoleon defeated Cyrus and Cynthia, become Emperor of Sinnoh and ushering in a glorious new age. EDIT: But befre he did that, he proved his new love for pokemon by giving a pokedoll to Uxie.

Wow. I didn't realize how much the lore had expanded. Yeah. It's become quite an intricate story. Those who left after Red missed a lot. I actually think that Red had one of the least interesting stories compared to the other runs. Sorry that I didn't answer right away. I didn't see your reply at first. AUNHGBUUNO the Slugma (Aunt Bueno): Aunt Bueno is thought of as matronly and Spanish due to her name. She was also one of the pokemon that could punch despite not having arms. Kirlia (Husbando, John Ralts): As a member of the ralts line, he was naturally very popular and a lot of jokes were made about how attractive he was (followed by how perfect he is in every other way). He became a symbol of trying to get something shiny from the PC and so some suspected he worked for Bill. He also became a symbol of rioting (in the fandom, it's common to say "X or Riot" to express a desired outcome). He was also associated with potatoes, with people even shipping him with potatoes. This is because the TwitchSpeaks function came about at this time, causing people too spam "potato" as it sounded funny. This is also how Root and Claw became associated with speech and silence respectively. MATMNIDJKR the Nincada (Digbug): Digbug was taught dig and we thought that it might be useful for a while before depositing it. This was confirmed with Koga having a pure power aeroblast ninjask. Lwweekjjje the Ariados (Lord Dome, "Ariadome"): Alice chose the Dome fossil hoping that the god would bring back order. Unfortunately, she was resurrected as a weak ariados and trapped in the PC. This event also finally revealed her gender to our surprise. Some still think of her as male, but seeing her as female has now become popular due to this. AATUUVWVW the Charizard (Old Amber, Lord Amber): Alice also resurrected Old Amber in a similar event to restore balance. Amber was slightly less affected and was able to bless Altareon even if he no longer had his true form. It was also discovered that Helix would have been a qwilfish. Domalakazam: "What do you think about ... murder?" The randomiser code was discovered early in the run, meaning that there were spoilers as to what the fossils would become. People tried to counter that by making fake spoilers. The most significant of which eventually became part of the lore. The false spoiler that Dome would be alakazam resulted in the creation of Domalakazam, the entity of democracy and murder. He is a politician Eldritch Abomination probably created from Bill's first abra. He goes around murdering people, but he tends to stay ahead in the polls as people appreciate his honesty. Zigzagoon (Bill's Zizagoon, Zigzagoon, Ziggy, Trizagoon): Bill's Zigzagoon, whom people have recently taken to calling Ziggy, is an ensemble darkhorse character. People love him. Ziggy was the only pokemon Alice released and an interpretation that he was a spy sent by Bill who accidentally released HIMSELF before he could learn anything useful quickly became popular (largely because of how funny he was in the comics). Ziggy is one of Bill's most loyal and dedicated and completely incompetent agents. Rather than being threatened by him, people tend to find himand his loyalty really endearing. Ziggy talks a lot and really loves ice-cream, pitying Bill's lactose intolerance. Ziggy's most common cover story is as a carpet salesman and he will sometimes disguise himself with a fake mustache. He also disguised himself as a bidoof to get caught by Napoleon and spy on him. He naturally got released again, but he kept checking on his new bidoof friends on the computer. Then one was released and he decided that he needed to stop the Voices not just for Bill, but for everyone he loved. He knew tri-attack, and still did when we faought him in the wild in Heartgold, hence one of his nicknames. Dewgong: People wanting to use the PC would claim that the "plan" was to retrieve a high-level dewgong from the PC (this late became a durant in some later games). No such pokemon was there. This game also included a shiny pikachu, which was immediately fainted. The Legendary "Birds" ("The Three Dark Lords", "The Shinigami Trio"): The three ledgendary birds were replaced by three dark lords of death: Latios ("Moltres" "Ledgeios", "The Dark Lord of the Ledges"): Ledgeios is the emo dark lord of ledges who brings more ledges into the world (he was surrounded by a bunch of annoying ones) and sings emo songs to induce suicide (perish song). He was taken out by Shellock. Mewtwo ("Zapdos", "Marc Twain", "The Dark Lord of Death"): Marc Twain was an evil experiment to create a dark lord of death. He had Pure Power and was so terrifyingly powerful, Alice ran in fear immediately. Ironically, he read her mind and ran in fear of the Voices as well. That said, he's seen as a kind of grim reaper and often depicted with a scythe. Mew ("Articuno", "The Dark Lord of Destruction", "Shadow Marc"): Marc's evil twin who responded to having a great ball thrown at it by self-destructing. Primo the Poké Dude (Primo-sensei): Primo-sensei is the star of TeachyTV, the educational program that Alice became addicted to. She might have a bit of a celebrity crush on him. She certainly admires him. Teala: Teala is in charge of the cable-club and some hosts, Alice in particular, liked to come over to her and chat extensively. People started shipping Alice and Teala and Teala was also seen as a possible secret agent working for Looker and helping to take down Bill. Sabrina: I forgot to mention her earlier, but she became increasingly important through TPP. The first signs were here when the randomiser took away her psychic powers and made her a normal girl who used normal types. She befriended Alice and in Heartgold, she was still normal. She was eager to befriend Aooo and was dissapointed at our accidental refusal, so we returned and agreed. She was pleased and had an innuendo-filled rematch, resulting in the popular AooooxSabrina ship. Next time: Platinum: One of the most popular stories in the series.

Marc the Mew (Karl Marc, Marcneto, Marc Jacobs, Marc Hamill, Mew Zedong, the Mewssiah, Mew Jesus):
"How the beep did we get a mew!?" is something that was often asked. Karl Marc was offered to us in a trade for a male nidoran. This really excited people and after some difficulty, they coordinated themselves and got a nidoran and traded it for him. His in-game name and and the communist theme led to him being called Karl Marc. His ability was magnet pull, so he was also associated with Magneto. Many saw him as a divine gift and the son of Meow Zedong, sent to help us. He also liked to spam Follow Me, even in Heartgold, leading to him being seen as a bit of an attention whore.
ZDNNNG the Skitty (Chairman Meow Zedong, Cheshire Skitty):
Meow Zedong was beloved because of his name which inspired the communist theme and also because of the fact that he initially kept learning ridiculously powerful moves. Eventually though, all his good moves were accidentally replaced and he retired to the PC. This was commonly seen as him stepping down to allow his allies a chance to become stronger and also to start a recycling program due to the fact that the last move he learned was recycle. He was also associated with the Cheshire cat due to the Alice in Wonderland theme. It was largely due to him, as well as Karl Marc later on that resulted in Alice being seen as a kindhearted cat lover. He is still seen as the one who guides and leads the team from the sidelines.
Quagsire (Swagsire, Quag, Sire, Quagmire, Shoop da Wooper, Cave Wooper, Kim Jong Wooper, Cavesire):
Swagsire was caught as a wooper with Pure Power and bone club. This was interpreted as him being an ancient caveman with super strength. Switching his ability to intimidate reinforced that interpretation. He was very popular and being given black glasses led to him being interpreted as very cool with lots of swag. He was also seen as the team's hypercompetent butler. A lot of people were very upset when he was deposited for the plan to get Karl Marc and he remained popular in fanart long after he was deposited.
hnjkrs the Machop (Hijinx, Lazychop):
Hijinks was Alice's starter. He had truant which was a sign of the hilarity to come. Him having truant was sometimes seen as part of Bill's plan and he was basically seen as very lazy, possibly even narcoleptic. He was also sometimes seen as very arrogant and too proud to put in effort, but his attacks were nevertheless powerful and some see Hyperbug as having been impressed and inspired by him. He should have been a bulbasaur and his depositing in the PC reinforced the Indifference of Grass stereotype.

Sandslash (Flameslash, Sandsplash, Flamesplash, Kuribu, Bonerlord, Safeslash):
When planning how we would tackle a randomised game, it was suggested that we buy a magikarp for 500 P. This was thought of a pretty desperate, but hilarious plan. It turned out well for us, as it gave us Flamesplash. Flamesplash was a sandslash and she was treated as a rescued slave due to having been sold. She also had the ability flame body and knew flamethrower for a while. It was one of her signature moves. Another being bone club. While she eventually forgot all fire attacks, in Heartgold, she was given sacred fie and made part fire-type, to remind us of her prior connection to flame. She is oftn depicted as a bit confused as to what she is, and often dressed as a magikarp, but also motherly towards Alice.
TTABCIJIJD the Blastoise (Shellock Holmes, Squirtlock Holmes, Auto, Antique, Toque, Ataque, Warlock Holmes.):
Shellock was one of Alice's more popular mon, partially due to the curiosity he shared with his trainer and how naturally his lore developed. He used to spam odor sleuth and this was quickly seen as him "investigating" which resulted in his nickname. He now has insomnia as crime never sleeps. He was also one of Alice's more feared pokemon in Heartgold due to Aooo's vulnerability to water and his high starter stats.
Altaria (Altareon, Fluffeon, Archangel Altaria, Swablee (formerly)):
Altareon was the underdog and lowest level of Alice's pokemon, almost getting replaced a few times. She was found in a pokeball meant to contain an eevee and she's seen as having been raised by eeveelutions and wanting to become an espeon to make people happy. People were looking forward to her eventual dragon typing, but she took a while to achieve it. Eventually, she evolved right after Amber was resurrected and people were thinking of replacing her with him. This was interpreted as Amber blessing her and choosing her to be one of his representatives. She used this new power to sweep Lorelei's ghosts, proving that she had earned her place on the team.
CCCDJCCCC5 the Slaking ("DJ" "Stalinking"):
DJ Stalinking has an interesting history. Before the run started, it was pointed out that we should try to catch a member of the slakoth-line as without truant, it would be extremely powerful. That they did and his name reminded people of the Soviet Union and the fact that his pokemon name starts with S led people to begin associating him with Stalin. He was seen as Chairman Meow's friend and his chosen replacement. In addition, people began using propaganda to support him, like his namesake, including lots of revisionist history about how Stalinking had always been supporting us from the start. People also noticed the "DJ" in his name, so that became his hobby with one of his titles being "Dictator of the Dance Floor". After he evolved, he was ludicrously powerful, though his ability being minus made people consider him a bit cynical. It was eventually realised that he could learn fly and that this would be too hilarious to not take advantage of, so he was taught it. This eventually led to him being associated with Red Sun Superman, which would later be used to contrast with Trumpbrava's Thor. Despite his cynicism, his most powerful move was a maxed-out return, proving Oak right when he said that Alice won because she used the power of love. In Heartgold, we were terrified of him due to his enormous power. "Stalinking is waiting for us" was said with dread.

Green:
"Yeah! Am I great or what?"
Alice's rival, he is seen as either an AU Blue or a relative of Blue. In any event, he was far more competent than Blue, beating Alice many times. And rather than working for Dome, he was supported by Bill, with Bill giving him an artificial Dome and a Voice. He continually changed his team, specialising in a different type each battle, but he always kept his starter, a horsea with ice beam that evolved into a kingdra. After being beaten b Alice as champion, he left for the bridge where he considered suicide.
(Super-Duper Science Team, League of Extraordinary Pokemon, The Commeownist Party):
Alice's extremely powerful and well-balanced team. Alice's team is one of the hardest to chose a signature pokemon from due to how important so many of them were. Also, a surprisingly large proportion of her team have abilities that prevent sleep during the late part of the game, to contrast with the start, where her entire team had to take a break after every attack.
AATUUUUNN the Masquerain (Hyperbug, Maverick, Tuna):
Hyperbug was the first pokemon that Alice caught and his loyalty places him as a strong contender for her signature mon. When she first caught him as a surskit, he knew hyperbeam, hence the nickname. He also had volt absorb at the time, turning one of his weaknesses into a strength, which resulted in some reluctance to evolve him. He was also the first to have his evolution cancelled by Jorsun, an infamous troll who spent all his time cancelling evolutions to the rage of the Mob. He eventually evolved though. He was apparently very impressed and inspired by Hijinks and tended to be the team's number two all the time, despite the number one changing. He is also associated with Kill la Kill.

By the time Camila defeated the Elite Four, Bill had finished the next step in his plans and escaped back to Kanto.
The G-Man told Camila what she had to do. She needed to step through a machine to send The Voices on to stop him. She agreed.
Twitch Plays Pokemon Firered:
"Commeownism in Wonderland"
In Firered, the timeline comes under a lot of controversy. There are a few different interpretations. The one I started with assumes that Firered is a direct sequel to Emerald and that one is my favourite. Another, comedic interpretation, is that it's a hallucination Camila had while high on oddish, another is that it's an Alternate Universe Red. And finally, there's the interpretation that while it is a sequel to Emerald, things from the opast of an AU have been thrown into the world.
In any event, this particular run had the odd state of being one of the most relaxing, while simultaneously being one of the most controversial, largely due to the larger amount of democracy use. It still has it's fans and it's my favourite.
It largely had themes of communism, Alice in Wonderland and divided loyalties.
Let's start by introducing my favourite host:
A (Alice, Alice Leaf-Smith, A-chan/A from Emerald):
"Oh, these guys? We cool."
"I must investigate all of them!"
"Lookit Shellock. It appears to be some form of troglodyte."
"Professor Oak never told me I'd have lots of voices telling me what to do. I think they must be the spirits of former pokemon trainers giving me guidance."
At first, some wondered if Camila had stayed with us due to the same in-game name. However, Alice looked different and seemed to have a very different personality. However, some speculate that Camila's forced transferal of the Voices put her own personality in Alice for a while, allowing her to moderate the Voices, which partially explains why Alice was one of the hosts to enjoy being one the most. To Alice, the Voices were not scary. They were merely another interesting phenomenon she wished to find out more about. Alice was an extremely curious girl and was a little bit obsessive. Maybe even OCD. Alice was quickly interpreted as highly intelligent, out to study pokemon and sketch them, wanting to become a pokemon professor. Eventually, the idea came up that Alice was so intelligent because she was Bill's daughter. This rapidly became a very popular idea. Alice was also portrayed as very talkative and a bit naive, but the nicest, sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She was also often drawn as wearing glasses. Alice loved her father and didn't really want to believe that he'd done the terrible things that the Voices claimed he had done. And when evidence accrued, she was faced with the decision to side with her father or the world. This may be way Alice was a huge procrastinator. She also went through a rebellious phase, going biking instead of progressing for a while and watching Teachy TV, which she became a huge fan of. Alice resurrected Dome and Amber, hoping to bring order and balance to the crazy, chaotic world in which she found herself, but the gods were trapped in weakened forms by the randomiser and they were stuck in the PC and under Bill's watchful eye. Alice also helped found the Commeownst party to help bring equality to all under the guidance of Chairman Meow. Alice was extremely competent and assembled a team of powerful pokemon, defeating the Elite Four in just 8 attempts. A record. There are those who believe that Alice was sick and dying and part of Bill's plan was to make her healthy using the randomiser or the Voices. If so, he succeeded. Three years later, Alice was even stronger and facing her in Heartgold was one of the greatest challenges we've ever faced.

Lanette:
Bill's second-in-command who is very devoted to him, she made the PC seem safer, while actually making it more dangerous. Under some interpretations, they are lovers or even spouses. Bill is still fairly young as he's typically seen as immune or resistant to old-age due to an ability Dome gave him or experimentation with The Voices.
Roxanne:
The first gym leader of Hoenn, she was a massive headache due to the resistances of her rock types. M4 was caught and trained specifically to counter her. She returned in Blaze Black 2 where she had the gods Root and Claw on her team and she is no seen as a devout missionary of the pantheon.
Wattson:
The Voices' greatest rival. The third gym leader, his entire city is a mess to get through, his puzzles are a headache and to one win. The WAHA, another unit of difficulty, which includes time taken to defeat, is also based on him. Wattson would continually stomp us and then laugh at us. He is seen as an incredibly powerful, terrifying and annoying, and his laughter causes people to become paralysed with fear. He opened a comedy club which consists of nothing but him laughing at the audience. A fake account called VillianousWattson was created to spend time mocking Camila and The Voices and their troubles. He returned in Blaze Black 2, where he was easier to beat, but still difficult.
Norman Slash:
The fifth gym leader and neglectful father of Camila who only called to tell her off for tring to fish indoors and stuff like that. Camila's mother isn't mutch better as she would continually try to force Camila to set the clock.
Juan:
The final gym leader of Hoenn, his gym is horrible for Twitch and resulted in democracy mode being activated for the first time in Emerald.
Elite Four:
The Elite Four of Emerald are viciously despised for how much trouble they gave us, seen as pawns of Bill (supplied by him) that Camila had to defeat to get to him. He even created a three day countdown, but that didn't work, so she got another three days ... and nearly missed that deadline too. After over a hundred atempts, she beat them.
Sidney's Shiftry's annoying tactics led to it being labelled as extremely evil and once he could be swept, it was very satisfying.
Similarly, Wallace's Ludcolo was viewed similarly, but no hatred compares to that we felt towards Wallace's Milotic, which kept spamming Recover, undoing all our work.
Steven Stone ("Steven-senpai"):
Seen as the sexiest man on Earth, their was a lot of innuendo and flirting between him and Camila who saw him as a mentor. In the ORAS demo, Steven Stone (who may be the same guy, an AU version, or a descendant) also flirted (this tikme with Orlando), but also acted like a bit of an entitled dick.
President Treeko:
People voted that we should choose Treeko for Emerald to keep the pattern of having a lizardlike starter matching the colour of the game and to have a different starter type for each game. As we voted for him, he was seen as the president. We didn't actually get him.
/' (Slasha), Camila, !!, Milton, Hazel, Reid, and T (Mr. T.):
These are the characters that were reset at the start of the game.
A wild shiny Chinchou "Beacon of Hope":
This shiny chinchou was seen while preparing to take down the E4 when morale was low. It restored morale and the next attempt went further than any previous one. Shing pokemon are often called "normal coloured" in TPP though.
Next, Firered!

apf uojkyy the Kadabra ("Fapbra", "Russian Abra", "Russian Fap", "Abrazzers", "the Joker", "Air Lock", "Akinator", "Good Abra"):
This abra was one of Camila's first catches. His suggestive pose was the source of some of his nicknames. He was also seen as Russian, just as Zexy was seen as French/Kalosian (and M4 was seen as American/Unovan). His inability to do anything other than teleport for a while was annoying, but he was eventually taught other moves and evolved. A kid asked us what was hip and happening, so Camila changed the "happening" phrase from "Good Bike" (leading to jokes that any bike we had was the good bike and other ones were bad bikes) to "Good Abra" and later "Apologise Abra" resulting in the interpretation that she was sorry for leaving him behind. An interpretation helped by Lovely Sunday, the one monthiversary of Bloody Sunday, where Camila kept swapping her party to spend time with all her pokemon. She also filled out a form with "Abra Air Lock".
Shedinja ("Zexy", "Zexinja", "Tea", "Zexuke"):
Dotty evolved on her first try, unusual for TPP, which resulted in the creation of Zexinja, interpreted as unwilling or unable to speak, but thought of as cool by Dotty, housing the soul of Zexy and he was very helpful in finally defeating Wattson.
Poochyena (2 unnamed female ("Dogeyena", "CMAAÄÄ", "Perdita"), 3 unnamed male ("Nintendoge" "Doge 2", "Pongo"), A, and ATMMMGMGG ("The Wolfpack", "Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed", Cerberus):
As I said, she caught LOTS of doges.
Gmnnn the Wurmple "G-Man":
A wurmple Camila caught, usually depicted as wearing sunglasses and plotting, working for some mysterious person. Under one interpretation, that person is Joey and G-Man is one of his agents sent to stop Bill.
CCC the Minun ("CCCP", "Vladimir Minun", "Current Conservation Corps", C3):
C3, while having the same in-game name as C3KO, is nicknamed differently. C3 ended up in the party and quickly gained fans, establishing himself as the young rookie eager to prove himself to M4 and people quickly began to ship them. It helped that azumarrils and minuns can breed. However, C3 took the role of damsel in distress when he was replaced with Apostrachu, interpreted as her kidnapping and impersonating him in an attempt to take out M4 for Bill. Apostrachu's release was seen as the discovery of her plot and rescue of C3, but he never rejoined the team. Some people did take the save file and use it to breed him with M4 though.
' the Pikachu ("Apostrachu", "Modest Mouse", Apostrapi):
Apostrachu is a pikachu typically portrayed as an agent of Bill and a master of disguise. Some see her as having disguised herself as an odddish to get caught by Camila and then having kidnapped and impersonated C3. She was eventually released in revenge.
XX the Wingull ("X-Wing", "Dos Equis", "Porncop"):
X-Wing was often seen as the driver and transporter of the team and as Birdcop's younger brother. Unfortuantely, his low level made him less than useful, so he was replaced with Annie.
The Cabbagepatch/Great Cabbage Harvest: Oddish (9 Unnamed Male, 9 Unnamed Female, .. grzrfg, CSzyyqr r1 (Czar, Caesar Salad), AARF., YYTTVV, A UP..IIh, C, AC, M, TM.Q and m) AAAGM the Gloom:
She caught A LOT of oddish.
HUUTTTTT the Taillow ("Taillow the Hutt"):
An early capture interpreted as a Hut or a Hutt. (ie. from Star Wars or Mongolia)
. TT the Ninjask ("Dotty", "Titicada", "Titty", "Chupacada" "Dot" ):
Dotty was a Timid and shy girl who would blush and hide. The Mob were happy to capture her as a shedinja would be useful. Unfortunately, they neglected her once she evolved and she was released. She is often portrayed as a ninja due to the nature of her pokemon species.
Oddish:
Camila's first oddish kept on ending up back in the party as if she was determined to be there. When she was reoleased, Camila caught 28 more to fill the hole.
Trapinch (The Trap):
People were eager to get a trapinch and evolve it into a powerful flygon, but this resulted in releases. She was then interpreted as an agent of Bill sent to infiltrate the group and that she worked with Apostruchu to kill Birdcop. She was released as a punishment. Trumpbrava is sometimes seen as her younger sister who was determined to undo the evil her older sister did.
BDCIOPP the Wingull ("Bird Cop", "Bad Cop"):
Birdcop was the one to truly start the police theme and she is often seen as the mentor who taught the A-Team to be good police officers. Unfortunately she was released just one day before retirement.

Yeah. It's become quite a big story.
zyyxyy the Torchic ("Zexy"):
Zexy was Camila's starter that she chose to spite The Voices and many were angry that she chose him. Despite this, Camila and the Mob quickly became attached to him. His name was interpreted as "Sexy"in a French accent and this, combined with his Lonely nature led to him being given a stereotypical French personality, being seen as from Kalos and a Casanova wannabe, always trying to hit on every female he comes across. He is always given a French accent and is typically drawn with a rose. He is often shipped with M4, though his refusal to evolve is often seen as a desire to remain immature and a refusal to commit, which is why M4 would often fight with him. He was the first pokemon of Emerald to be released, proving the mob wrong in their belief that the PC was no longer dangerous and resulting in suspicion that fire might be cursed. Camila used her pokedex to try and find him, but couldn't. Around the same time, Dotty evolved, creating a shedinja. As shedinja are able to absorb souls, it is common to see shedinja as having rescued Zexy's soul to become Zexinja who continues to carry his rose. Other members of the team started wearing roses to honour him as well.

_-5‘‘‘7‘‘Y the Graveler ("5'7", "Shorty"):
5'7'' is usually portrayed as the clumsy demolitions expert and bomb quad member due to repeated use of self-destruct and explosion. She also apparently considers Annie her senpai despite he fact that Annie was the last member of the team to be caught. She's also one of the few who can eat Camila's absolutely terrible-tasting pokeblocks.
Vileplume ("Cabbage the White"):
While caught as part of the Great Cabbage Harvest, Cabbage the White distinguished herself by ending up on the team and reaching her final evolution. Cabbage the White is seen as a reincarnation or descendant of Cabbage from Red. She is portrayed as intelligent and a mage and/or scientist, usually in charge of the forensic lab and the inventor of the Rare Candy treatment, referring to the use of rare candies, a leaf stone and the TM Hidden Power on her and Cruella to get them to evolve and become more powerful. It's treated as a super serum and the other oddish are treated as her assistants, though a pair retired to the daycare and had an egg together. She's also often portrayed as one of the sweeter, sillier and more humble members.
Mightyena ("Mighty Doge", "Mighty Cop", "Mighty No.9", "Super Doge", "Under Doge", "Captain Crunch".):
Mightydoge was caught fully evolved after the release of Birdcop. It's common to portray Birdcop as having been his mentor and possible love interest and that he joined the A-Team to capture those responsible for her death. Due to his ability being intimidate and his rather vicious moves, he was commonly seen as the interrogator of the group despite his mild nature. When he was taught Shadow Ball, it was seen as him reuniting with the ghost of Birdcop who granted him her power. He is naturally seen as the leader of the K9 unit or doges (the poochyena and one electrike) (Emerald started a tradition of having lots of doge jokes).
GJKLFFZ the Tentacruel ("GJ", "Cruella", "Cruelthulhu", "Kraken", "Hentaicruel"):
"I'm sorry, but Lanette can't come to the computer right now as I just bitch-slapped her across the fucking room."
Cruella was caught for use of HMs and her use of dive factored into her fanart portrayal as a diver, though she was also seen as a forensics expert. The fat that she was given Cabbage the White's Rare Candy Super Serum treatment and the fact that she became the second most powerful member of the team also led her to being portrayed as one of the more badass members. The fact that her hidden power also does electric damage is often referenced in fanwork too.
A♀NIIIc33 the Hariyama ("Annie"):
Annie, who sometimes had her name read as "A female! Nice!", usually interpreted as being said by Zexy, was caught after X-Wing was deposited in an attempt to catch a more powerful pokemon on Victory Road. Annie was not what they were aiming for, but they were pleased with the result. Annie's typing gave her a big advantag over two Elite Four members (Sidney and Glacia) and as the Emerald Elite For was a nightmare, any advantage was welcome. Annie it typically drawn wearing pink and she is a lso a bit of a shout-out to Attack on Titan's own Annie. Annie soon proved her worth, eventually being able to sweep both members of the Elite Four she was chosen to deal with. She was sometimes seen as the Chosen One, because of this.

Brendan T. Birch (Mr. T):
The T initial came from one of the reset characters "T". In any event, Brendan was seen as initially afraid of Camila, but they had lots of belligerent sexual tension. It's tyically accepted that they ended up together, but Camila is dominant. He like's mudkips and named his own "Oscar". Parody comics sometimes portray him as hypercompetent and swaggy, but with the inability to speak properly, having his speech full of misspellings. The Mr. T aspect is also suitable for the A-Team theme.
The A-Team:
Camila's team never had more than two males on it at a time and it's the most poplar team to be humanised, though they're typically portrayed as badasses rather than moe.
M ---/'/'4 the Azumarill ("M4 Moe", "M4", "Uzimarill" "Bloody Marill", "Virgin Marill", "Marill Streep", "Marilland", "Silmarillion"):
M4, associated with the type of gun (she's typically drawn carrying one) and the most powerful member of her team. Her name includes "Moee" in Morse Code and this is taken advantage of, with her cuteness and badassery used to contrast each other. As such, she's typically drawn in a frilly, blue dress with kevlar, black sunglasses and a Rambo-esque headband or a similar outfit. M4 has a rash nature and that was consistently portrayed as a brusque, aggressive personality and drill sergeant nasty to her underlings. Despite this, she is very protective of her team and she has found affection and even love. However, M4's journey is full of tragedy, continually losing her friends and those she loves while feeling despair that she could not become strong enough to protect them. M4xZexy is a massively popular ship despite their fights in double battles and his release was seen as having a profound and tragic effect on her, driving her to find the one who murdered him, and to become strong enough to protect others from the same fate. She was the first TPP pokemon to reach level 100 and was often seen as the hero who protected us from the horrifyingly dangerous trainers of Emerald. She is my favourite and came in fourth place in the popularity contest, losing to Helix himself by only a few votes. M4's awesomeness and sheer determination caused people, including myself, to reevaluate azumarills. Her signature move was rollout and people were amazed at how eefective she was with it, to the point that wen she forgot it, people could not accept that and they retaught it to her. She is by far the most common TPP pokemon to be drawn humanised and portrayng her as less than completely badass is practically heresy in the fandom. M4's tragic life does mean that many want her to be happy and it is common to see her as finding another chance to have love and a happy ending with C3.
