At least you got some experience as to what it's like.

I listened to a ton of stuff today. Dream Theater's A Dramatic Turn of Events, Genesis' Foxtrot, and Iron Maiden's Book of Souls double album. Got few songs into Mastodon's Crack the Skye, too.
Here's the epic last track from Foxtrot:

Whooo. Hopefully this time everything will actually get done. I know how renovations can sort of spiral.
(also you can read that thing I sent you ;p)

I have an iphone and ipod, but that's it. For my actual computer I prefer something that's actually compatible with more things. ;p
And also is a bit cheaper.

The 128 gig ipod touch. It's like $400, but it's the only one that will hold my collection. Well, I could've gone with a 64gig but I wouldn't be able to add much more to it.
In other news, I listen to a big chunk of Genesis' Foxtrot. It's pretty good, though it's one of those albums that requires multiple listens to absorb.

It could work pretty well as long as you don't make it too obvious what's going on.

Well I'm not listening to any new music, but my new ipod came in today, so I'll be able to listen to more of my existing stuff. Although I do think I have a Genesis album lying around somewhere I was meaning to listen to.

Well, Liar's Dice is a heavily chance based game, so outside of making a bid that's physically impossible, you're still going to win on occasion.

Yeah, that's pretty freaky. And I"m pretty sure this is the first Star Wars movie not to have Jedi as main characters. At least not that we know of. I like how they're incorporating so many original trilogy designs into it.

Yeah, none of the mane cast or Spike ever get so much as a cameo. Anyway, on one hand, I agree with Meta. The middle part of the episode is kind of aimless and it feels like the first and last parts of the episode (the CMC not knowing what to do next, and Apple Bloom worrying about growing apart from her friends) seem a bit disconnected, like they sort of grafted two separate concepts onto each other.
On the other hand, I think they did a really good job of addressing most of the issues they brought up. It's good that they managed to show that the CMC have grown a bit, but also that they still have their insecurities. In particular, it really makes sense for Apple Bloom to have issues, as she was always the most anxious about the whole thing. So on that front I thought that episode worked really well by shaking up the dynamic between the Crusaders in a way that sends them in a new direction while still being consistent with their characterizations.
Honestly I'd put it near the top of the CMC episode list mainly because it averts their typical aesop amnesia.

That's a pretty cool concept.
Also, the new episode was pretty good. Won't say anything else about it.

Yeah, I sort of am too. Glad it's the weekend though. New pony and I get a chance to relax a bit. Hopefully I'll get a new ipod within the next week or two, which will be helpful.
