Yeah, so I was listening to Soundgarden's Superunknown today. Pretty great.
Here's the video for the title track, starring PS1-era CGI:

Great, now we just have to convince Meta to only use this power for our benefit the good of humanity.

That's the upside to not really giving a crap about paint. As long as it isn't glaringly ugly I'll live with it.

I had a feeling it might go overtime. Stuff like this always takes longer than you think it will.

Sounds like fun. I haven't grabbed The Force Awakens yet, but there's a re-issue of the Azumanga Daioh DVDs that I preordered, and it releases soon.

I can't say that I'm surprised. Then again, I don't know much about TCGs to begin with.

I'm doing okay. Mostly just relaxing at the moment.

I'm not going to open them until Saturday; ideally you give them at least 48 hours to brine. I made them just before dinner on Thursday, so I'll probably open them during supper tomorrow. I checked the jars and they certainly look like pickles. My only worry at this point is that I didn't quite have enough brine to fill the jars to the brim. Which shouldn't be a problem because it was enough to cover the cucumbers, I just think that they might float, with the ends out of the brine. But even if that happens it won't be a big deal. I have enough leftover ingredients that I can make another batch.
In other news, I found a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass at a Gamestop, which is great because it's hard to find.

Okay, I can safely say that Iron Maiden still have it, even after 40 years of performing. After listening to their latest album a few times, I think it's right up there with the best of their 80's material. "Empire of the Clouds" could very well be one of their best songs. I'd link it here, but it's almost 20 minutes long (though worth ever minute), so I'll leave this here instead. It's still pretty long, but it's epic. It really kicks off about a minute and a half in:

Yeah, they're in the fridge now. And my hands smell like garlic from when I was peeling the cloves. Each jar has garlic and dill seeds, and one of them has red pepper flakes. Going to see how spicy that makes it.
And yeah, breaking in the room sounds like a good plan. Hopefully you'll get everything figured out this weekend. I don't think there's an episode so you won't have quite as much to catch up on.

I have started Operation Pickle. I currently have them in jars on my counter. Once the brine cools down (You boil it before you put it in the jars) I'll stick them in the fridge until the weekend.

That is a pretty nice passage. Also, I'll try to look at your Ditzy thing this weekend. I've been preoccupied with my Spike project lately.

Better get started then. If nothing else, it'll give you something to do while you wait for the renovations to finish up.
In other news, I'm going to try making my own pickles tomorrow.

Maybe they can't tell the differences between them or something, even if they can see the actual glow. I dunno. Or changeling magic or something.
And yeah, that was basically "What Dragon Quest Should've Been: The Episode".

Yeah you've really got to practice for that. I'd say start small. Just do like one sketch a day, just to get yourself into a drawing routine.
