So the USA lose to Germany 1-0, but with Portugal winning 2-1 against Ghana means that the US still advances.

I still can't help but feel a little disappointed. With how well we were out played by Germany I just don't see us getting much further then the round of 16. Maybe I wouldn't feel so bad if Dempsy had managed to get that last header in.

According to what I read, since USA and Portugal were tied in terms of wins they went ot score differential for the tiebreaker, and Portugal had let in more goals overall, so they lost?
