I didn't know C.S Lewis wrote Sci Fi!

Yeah, and they're a bit odd. They've got aliens and voyages to other planets, but the "science" in the books is often deliberately outdated, and he draws as much on Medieval ideas of the cosmos as on hard SF. And they all represent philosophical concepts that Lewis had earlier expounded on in his non-fiction.

@applelight: Yeah, the Space Trilogy is sci fi, although it's quite odd as far as sci fi goes. For one, he includes a lot of theological and mythological content. The general premise of the series rests on the notion that earth is the only planet affected by original sin, and exactly what happens when humanity starts to interact with other (unfallen) alien races on other planets. For example, the plot of the second book is basically the devil (who's confined to earth as a form of damage control) possessing someone and travelling to Venus in an effort to deliberately cause it to suffer the same fate as earth by causing the inhabitants (or inhabitant, as there's only two of them, and one doesn't show up until the very end) to fail Venus' equivalent of the ForbiddenFruit incident. And the protagonist is sent to Venus to stop him.
The third book is basically a huge genre shift in which an evil organization attempts to revive Merlin (who was in contact with aliens) and transcend humanity past their biological bodies and remove all emotion.
In general, it's a really weird series with a lot of philosophy in it, but it also makes it pretty unlike most sci fi.

Oh, and Lewis even ties the series into Tolkien's (then-unpublished) Middle Earth cycle. According to the backstory, King Arthur was descended from the line of NĂºmenor.

Yeah, I remember doing a double-take the first time I read that bit. Interestingly enough, it seems that at that point he had only heard about NĂºmenor and never actually seen it written down, because it's spelled incorrectly.
Also, in the universe of the story, the Greek/Roman pantheon are sort of real: they're based on the group of angels (who are Starfish Alien Energy Beings in this series) who are in charge of the various planets of the solar system. I.e. Zeus/Jupiter is based on the angel in charge of the planet, etc. The protagonist actually meets the ones in charge of Mars and Venus directly.

Sounds interesting. What albums/singles are you liking?
Speaking of house, I picked up 808 State's Utd. State 90 last week and I like it a bunch.

I'm not even sure what House music is, exactly. ;p

Basically, in the late 70s, disco evolved into a more electronic sound and they called it Italo disco. And then underground DJs in Chicago made extended dance jams by sampling those disco and Italo disco rhythms, and that was called house music. And then house spawned a bazillion subgenres, and pretty much all electronic dance music since then has been influenced by it. Specific artists that come to mind: Daft Punk (though they went back to disco on their last album, from what I've heard); Todd Terje; Pet Shop Boys; The KLF.

Interesting. I've actually heard of a few of those bands, though the only one I actually have any albums from is Daft Punk. I should really listen to those again.

Here's a couple of the singles that have been in the charts lately: No Worries by Disciples and David Guetta... ...and Don't Be So Shy by Imany and featuring Filatov and Karas. There's more but so far I'm having trouble finding the names of them. And, embarreshimg question here...that is house music right? Or have I completely mixed it up?

Yeah, those both sound like house to me. Can't comment on which specific subgenres, because I can't always tell the differences.
