I thought it was okay. It started out kind of weak, but the second half picked up and was pretty entertaining. The yaks were kind of one-note, but the other aspects of the episode were pretty good.

It was really baffling, even for a Pinkie episode. I can't tell if the ponies were being culturally insensitive, or the yaks are just jerkasses, or both. And Pinkie's journey... something's wrong when "Pinkie hallucinated most of the trip" or "Equestria still hasn't recovered from the war against Discord, so distances and directions between cities fluctuate randomly" are the two most logical explanations for what we see.
It had a bunch of great gags, so I can't dislike it, but I don't know if I actually like it.

I think it depends on what you want out of it. Taken purely for entertainment value and characterization for Pinkie, it's good. As far as worldbuilding, continuity, and logical plotting goes, it has some issues.

The yaks put me off immediately, I only just made it to the opening theme before I quit watching. Their attitude just seemed so... petty?

I'll praise the episode for the jokes and humour and pinkies secret party cave but I agree with you all about the yaks.
