I got into this great show a few months ago. I started a catch up binge but I stopped watching a month ago when the uni work got serious. Now I aim to start watching it again, from the start of season four. Anyone here watch it? I think you do JT?

Yeah, I recently finished up my binge. Overall my take is something like this:
S1: Hit or miss on the individual episodes; there are some good ones, but they're pretty evenly mixed with the forgettable episodes. S2: Still hit or miss, but the hit-to-miss ratio is improved a bit. S3: This is where I think the show really picks and get good; it starts developing continuity in the characterization and worldbuilding that puts it a step above the episodic content of the first two seasons. S4: This season, along with S3 are what I'd currently think of as the show's golden age; lots of really good episodes with minimal filler. S5: I think the show started to slip a bit here; it's still better than S1 and S2, as it maintains the continuity and Character Development, but it also has the first two seasons' issues with consistency; it has a lot of good episodes, but they're more scattered among less notable ones. This is also the season where I think the whole "Lemon People" sub-arc really wore out its welcome. S6: Too early to tell, as it's ongoing, but so far it looks to be about on pace with S5.

I pretty much agree with you JT. It's been very interesting watching it grow from a sort of Widget series into a deep show.

Yeah, most fans seem to call it the best one.

Like I said, I think 3 and 4 are the show's best seasons so far.

Can I say too just how hilarious Lumpy Space Princess is? Every time she opens her mouth I burst out laughing.

Yeah, she's pretty great. Though I find she's better in small doses.
Also, the latest episode aired last night. It was... interesting.
