In which Spike becomes an alicorn princess, then breaks the fourth wall to declare that everyone watching the show is also a princess.

Also he could've solved the plot by closing a window.

But where would be the fun in that?
Anyway, the moral is confusing. The way that Spike effed things up doesn't match with what the episode claims that Spike was doing wrong.

Yeah, it makes a big deal about how he was abusing his power, even though that's not really what caused the problems. The stuff that went wrong were the things that he was trying hardest to do right. The real problem is that they weren't clear about what he was supposed to be doing. The real moral would be more about being willing to ask for help when you're overwhelmed or being clear about exactly what you want people to do.

I'm going to save watching this episode until tomorrow when that interview is over. I'll probably need a boost when it's done.

This was one of the better Spike episodes, even though the plot resembled that of "Secret of My Excess". I wonder how comfortable Twi would sleep on a book about pancakes? I'm going to save watching this episode until tomorrow when that interview is over. I'll probably need a boost when it's done. Good luck.

@ Syd A belated thank you. And here we see the book horse in its natural habitat: Sleepy Twilight is so cute I can't stand it! First in Twilight's Castle and now this! And I saw the episode. It was...eh, it was OK. It just...was.

Yeah, it seems to be consensus that the episode was basically alright. Nothing particularly special, nothing terrible either.
