This rumor came from 4chan and the likelihood of it being true is probably more remote then the possibility of tachyons existing in nature (especially given things that supposedly happen in the end), but I still think there are a lot of cool things ideas in here if nothing else. You might get some nice fan fic ideas if nothing else.

501: Cutie Mark Magic - Part 1

Curious as to why the castle appeared, Twilight and her friends investigate a mysterious map that leads them to a strange town.

502: Cutie Mark Magic - Part 2

Fearing a trap, Twilight turns to Discord to help rescue her friends from Maredane.

503: The Crystal Caper

The map sends the ponies to the Crystal Empire, where they must help the crystal ponies without letting Princess Cadance know.

504: Seed No Evil

Babs Seed returns to Ponyville, but Applebloom soon notices her cousin slipping back into her old habits.

505: Over the Moon

Princess Luna summons Twilight to help her interpret a vision about a falling star.

506: A Hoof-full of Apples

The map sends the ponies to Appleloosa, where the townfolk are blaming the buffalo for a bad crop of apples.

507: Princess Pandemonium

During a royal summit, the princesses find themselves entertaining some difficult dignitaries.

508: Fawnder over Yonder

Fluttershy travels to White Tail Wood, where she meets a deer who is even more shy than she is.

509: The Centennial Celebration

Twilight and her friends lead the festivities of of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Ponyville, but soon find themselves overwhelmed when everyony from all over Equestria comes to participate.

510: Star-Spangled Banter

With the falling star drawing closer, Twilight has to persuade the Mayor to help her prepare.

511: Sweetie Spy

Diamond Tiara recruits Sweetie Belle to help her eavesdrop on the other ponies competing in Ponyville Idol.

512: Diamond in the Dust

Rarity is summoned to be a judge for a fashion show in Canterlot, but constantly finds herself being outshined.

513: Balder-Dash

The map sends the ponies to Cloudsdale, where Rainbow Dash learns that Spitfire wants to quit the Wonderbolts.

514: Gem in the Dragon's Hands

When the dragons of Equestria learn of a rare gem in the mountains, Spike begs Twilight to let him go find it.

515: Scoot Over

When Shining Armor comes to Ponyville to coach the junior races, Scootaloo realizes what she's best at doing.

516: Party on the Bayou

The map sends the ponies to Hollow Shades, where Pinkie Pie learns that her old party tricks don't seem to work with the locals.

517: Hot New Flare

When Celestia gets sunspots, Twilight is sent to learn more about the star, where she uncovers a startling secret.

518: Sweet Apple Showdown

An Apple-hating outlaw arrives in Ponyville, and Applejack has to set aside her differences with the Flim Flam Brothers if she wants to save her farm.

519: I Dream of Cutie

Frustrated that she still hasn't earned her cutie mark, Applebloom hangs up her crusader's cape.

520: Groovy Gala House

When Discord is called to be a host at the Grand Galloping Gala, he asks Fluttershy to help him.

521: The Changelings Are Due on Stirrup Street

When a panicked mare claims to have seen a changeling, all of Ponyville is thrown into a frenzy.

522: Library Blues

The map leads the ponies right in the middle of Ponyville, where Twilight realizes her old library once stood.

523: Sparkle Sparkle Supernova

With the star falling soon, Twilight tries to put her mind to other things, but can't seem to shake her fear.

524: S Marks the Spot

The map leads the ponies to one final location, Starswirl the Bearded's secret study.

525: The Falling Star - Part 1

When Sirius lands, Twilight must lead her kingdom in spite of Celestia's warnings.

526: The Falling Star - Part 2

In fear of losing her friends forever, Twilight recants her wings and crown.

I could see a lot of those happening, though like you said, I kinda question the veracity of anything coming from 4chan. Although at least this time they made summaries that actually sound like things the show might do. The last couple episodes sound... questionable, but after the whole "alicorn" thing, I do think it's at least a little plausible, if highly unlikely.

They sound so believable. I'll take with a big pinch of salt of course but there seems to be some amazing ideas in there. And just reading makes me wonder, are the crusaders about to earn their marks? With that first episode it seems like cutie marks are the theme.

And alien invasion imminent!

A lot of it does sound cool, but frankly a lot of it also sounds to "convenient" from fan point of view. An episode addressing Babs Seed's behavior which a lot of fans didn't like? An episode addressing the Buffalo Applelosa conflict again, whose original resolution fans didn't like? Episodes where the CMC get their cutie marks? An episode where Twilight possibly loses her wings? Feels to much like a fan's wish list.

I will say that the possibility of a more interconnected season long story arc is very tempting. . .which also plays into the fan wish list aspect.

That's all true, but I'd also point out that if we would've gotten a summary of say, S4's episodes we might've reacted with similar skepticism.

"What? Scootaloo's flying issues get addressed? Daring Do is real? Weird Al guest starring as a rival to Pinkie Pie? Rainbow Dash gets a chance to join the Wonderbolts' team? Derpy is back? The Breezies return? We get more Flutterguy? Sacrificing the Elements of Harmony? An overarching plot where they find keys to unlock a new power? Tirek is back and has a giant laser battle with Twilight, who's absorbed all the alicorn power?! I gotta call BS on that."

I'm not saying that these are legit, but I don't think that they're outside the realm of possibility either. Yeah, it's a bit suspect that there are so many fan-oriented bits on there, but the previous season also had a lot of that stuff. S4 showed that the writers are perfectly willing to add stuff they think the fans want to see. And some of that stuff doesn't necessarily even imply pandering. I.e. the Appleoosa thing might just be the writers wanting to go back to the setting, and a buffalo/pony conflict is a pretty logical way to do it.

Again, I doubt all of these are accurate (in particular, the finale stuff sounds very fanfic-y), but the past season has showed that the writers do push the envelope.

Which things are those? (I totally haven't been following spoilers).

I know that we were promised an episode about the library (which is on there), and episode 9, which will be the show's 100th episode, seems to fit the hints that it would be a Lower Deck Episode involving side characters. Of course all that means is that whoever made this stuff up did their homework.

Although I guess it's also possible that somebody got a partial list and filled in the blanks.

In addition to what's already been said, we've never gotten an official episode-by-episode synopsis for an entire season before the fact. Ever.

Also, an official source should at least know how to spell Apple Bloom's name correctly. Apple Bloom. Not "Applebloom".
