Simple Ways cracked me up The whole episode was a showcase for Tabitha's voice talent. "Who's ow-er next...maw-DELL for the fashion SHAOWWW?"

Season Four is kind of the opposite of Season Three for me. I mean that in the sense that in Season Three I disliked both the primer and finale episodes but I overall liked the normal episodes so I ended up liking the season overall. In Season Four I thought the opening and ending episodes were better, but the normal episodes tended towards the bland and uninteresting, and so I liked this season less then much less then the previous.

There was a lot more ensemble episodes this season which is something we all wanted I believed?

There was a lot more ensemble episodes this season which is something we all wanted I believed? I'm not sure if that was necessarily better in hindsight.

I certainly enjoyed the ensemble episodes. I can't say that they were the best in a technical sense, but "Trade Ya", "Power Ponies", and "Castle Maneia" were all really fun, even if they weren't particularly deep.

I wonder if we'll ever see the Pony of Shadows again? Probably not. I think they were just going for a twist ending (not to be confused with a Twist ending): "The Pony of Shadows is just a legend... or is it? DUN DUN DUNNNN!" They kind of faked us out with fixing up the old castle, leading some of us to believe, "Oh, it's going to be Twilight's castle." Nnope. Twilight's castle being in the Everfree Forest didn't make much sense anyway. So, we're left with the question, Why are they restoring it? As a historical landmark?

The "pony of shadows" had glowy yellow eyes. Tirek had glowy yellow eyes. COINCIDENCE?

Yeah, was that Tirek or what?

I'm thinking "or what," unless we get confirmation. It would be cool if it was Tirek though, hiding out in the old castle, building his strength up, waiting...waiting...

Of course, if that was the case he would've known about Twilight from the beginning.
