Need to work up the nerve to have myself photographed in strange poses for a Photoshop-based midterm project. Somehow that feels harder than doing actual Photoshop.
I never did get used to being in pictures.

I know the feeling. I've finally got my stuff into my room. Now I just need to go buy a chair and it's all done. I think I hurt my back though. EDIT: Congrats on the new job Mio! I hope your dog will be ok.

I'm not a fan of getting photographed either. Mio: Congrats on the job and I hope your dog does alright.

So guys, I said I'd share some photos of the room when it's done. Well it's not quite done yet but here it is anyway: When I took over this room it was mouldy and had a leak in the ceiling. It was also painted bright red with Japanese writing on the walls because it was my brothers and that was his style at the time. Thankfully that's all gone, and I hope it's looking a lot better. I'll need new blinds, some lamps and another bookcase plus a chair for the desk but it's largely done. Finding space for anything will be the next challenge.

Looks pretty cool. I should take some pictures of the stuff I have set up in my apartment, now that it's like 95% of the way there. That'll have to wait until tomorrow though.

Cool, thanks. It's pony I'm mostly looking forward to catching up on. I'm a season and half behind.

Have you made any progress on catching up on pony yet?

Not yet, but I plan to start Monday. And this time I'm serious. The room is finished, I have somewhere to sit and a lock on the door. I'll finally have peace and quiet to watch it, in peace. But in sadder news, Adam West died.

Yeah, I heard about that. It's quite unfortunate.

Family Guy won't be the same without him.
And I just finished unpacking my stuff. I am now 100% back in this room. Tomorrow I start watching pony and I'll be building my overlord airships whilst making the first sections of the falcon. Will get pics up asap.

That's going to take some awfully detailed painting.

That's going to take some awfully detailed painting. It is certainly is. However, luckily metal is easy to paint. It'll actually probably be the crew who are the hardest to paint. Oh, and here's a pic of the ship put together: and one of the underside: As you can see, the hull didn't quite fit together. I might need to fill that gap with putty but I hope it doesn't come to that since it would ruin the details.

More dudes: This is the navigator, khemist and endrinmaster. Collectively they're the warrant officers. My back up heroes, the support cast. The navigator is able to use technology to see the winds of magic, which are normally only visible to wizards. Seeing the winds lets him guild the ships, allowing them to go faster. He can also manipulate the winds to kick up a storm and ground enemy fliers. The Khemist is the one who finds, gathers and processes the magical aether gold the Overlords crave. He is armed with what is essentially a chemical flamethrower (in a game were most people carry a sword and shield), which is naturally a very deadly weapon. His support abilities are amazing...he can either jack up the aether gold powering his friends weaponry, making them more powerful. Or he can suck away all the air around him, paralyzing enemies around him. He's by far the most dangerous character in the army (shame he isn't as tough as the others). The endrinmaster is a straight up engineer, repairing the ships and vaporizing enemies with his eye laser and super hammer.
