Do you think the dramatics might have something to do with it too?

I think the "dramatics" criticism is generally overstated, but I'm sure it's a factor. I still think the fact that we generally don't do "well" is the more major factor.

That's probably true.
Anyone watching Brazil match yet?

It's going to start in a couple of minutes, but it's pretty much a guaranteed Brazil win.
It would be kind of terrifying if it wasn't a Brazilian victory.

For reasons beyond football too.

First half down, and it's been interesting. Neymar got pushed to the ground when the play was out of play but instead of getting mad he got even, by scoring twice. Cameroon briefly equalized, and what struck me was the silence that followed. The Brazilians fans clearly have their Cameroonian counterparts fully outnumbered in the stands.

Meanwhile, the Mexico vs. Croatia game is still scoreless now 1-0 now 2-0 (this has been an active 5 minutes) for Mexico with a few questionable calls here and there. I'm surprised the Mexican team doesn't have more yellow cards or a red card yet.

I've heard that Uruguay really bites this year.

That's the third time the big stupid bastard has done that! As a United Fan, my reaction is, ban him!

Well it's a bit to late to save Italy's Cup prospects. It's not a good year for Southern Europe. On the bright side, Greece managed to pull through an advancement. There is a country that could always use some good news.

Absolutely. I hope that brings them some measure of happiness.
Also, the debate around Suierze (spelling) continues in the media.
I don't like him, and I think he at least deserves to be booted out of the tournament altogether. Then Liverpool can decide if they still want the stupid goofy bastard or not. Skill it no skill, you don't bite people. Not once and especially not three times. So he needs to learn that actions have consequences.

And yet Zidane headbutting somebody turned into a big thing...

If he's really skilled I doubt Liverpool will want to pull him with the Champions Cup just a month away. Depending on how things go I might see him in August. . .if Liverpool makes it to the finals.
^Well FIFA has always been known for being a bit. . .arbitrary.

Zidane was due to retire anyway, and if I recall correctly, the guy crossed a line with what he said to him. This...this is something else entirely. The guy's not right in the head imo.
