I'm liking it already! I also got FF no.7. It's Pinkie Pie trying to teach Luna to be funny and it is great! Highlights include Twilight consulting books on the different schools of thought on 'funny', Pinkie pulling a Canterlot Voice, and this line; Luna: So, to be funny I have to torment those who oppose me and laugh in their faces? Pinkie: No you play pranks on your friends. Also, this comic had feels. P.S: In this story we meet a pony in Canterlot with Fancy Pants named 'Fancy Shmancy'. I've now headcannoned him as Pant's father.

I need to catch up on the comics. I still haven't read "FIM" 20 and 21, or "FF" 6 and 7. Guess I'll tackle the mane series first.

I fell behind with them too, first due to lack of money, then because the comixology app on my phone which lets me auto buy them is still not working, so I forgot about them for ages.

Okay, I'm all caught up on the comics. My thoughts: I agree with others who have said that the "Reflections" arc could have been handled better, but I'm not as disappointed in the story as some seem to be. There's really no way that the story as it unfolded could have had a happy ending for Celestia and Sombra, IMO. "FF" #s 6 and 7 would have benefited from being two-parters. Both were good, but rather hastily resolved. Some of Trixie's dialogue in #6 seemed off. The Great and Powerful Trixie does not say "Wowzers," you cretins. Still, Dashie's loyalty was on display here. She couldn't fly off and leave Trixie, as much as she deserved it. There were some unexpected feels in #7 when Luna refers to Pinkie as "just a clown." Ouch. Way to bite the hoof that's trying to help you, Luna. "FIM" #21: Ah, a two-part "who did done doed it?" story. Not so sure Trixie is as innocent as she wants everypony to believe.

Haven't been able to read 7 and 21 yet. Hopefully they'll show up in the mail tomorrow.

As to issue 21 I've not read it yet, so I better hurry up.

One minor nitpick: The artist on "FF" #7 drew Tibbles the opossum curled up asleep in a bed on the floor in a couple of panels, but drew him much too big. He looks to be half the size of a normal pony!

Me too. Not only is he cute, but he's a good source for sight gags. In "FIM" #20, he's sharing grapes on the floor with Luna. He runs away when Luna smashes into the mirror. In the next panel, though, we see a paw reaching back in for the grapes.

A three-page preview is up for "FF" #8. It's an AJ and Rarity story, with art by Andy Price. I can't wait! The IDW team is fully aware of how often the barn gets destroyed, and puts the running joke to good use. Even AJ is sick of re-building at this point.

Umm. . . I've been hearing his name a bit and so I need to ask, who is Tibbles?

Umm. . . I've been hearing his name a bit and so I need to ask, who is Tibbles? Tibbles (short for Tiberius) is an opossum Princess Luna adopts as a pet in issue #10 of the Micro-Series. He has since appeared in the main series and "Friends Forever" as well.

Rarity and Applejack are one of my favorite personality pairings. Also, it'll be cool to see Applewood.
