Coco Pommel makes her return, to teach us all about helping the community through volunteering.
There is Rarity/Applejack shipteasing.
And just in case the closetful of hats in "Somepony to Watch Over Me" didn't make it clear, Applejack's hat is not any sort of treasured family heirloom.

Also, Babs makes a cameo in the background.
It's a good episode, but it weirds me out how AJ keeps worrying about not being a city pony when she was fine the last time she was in Manehattan.

To be perfectly honest, this was my least favorite episode of the season so far. Hardly any of the jokes made me laugh. Coco wasn't used very well—she does her actually important stuff all off-screen, then she spends her time on-screen just worrying. Even the Rarijack shipping has been done better elsewhere.

Construction Guy and Beret Girl is my new background character ship.
I think since Applejack was just visiting to watch a play, and she was there with all her closest friends, she was mostly okay being in the city. Here, she only has Rarity with her, and there's the pressure of being on an Official Friendship Mission.

That potential contradiction didn't bother me too much. I just didn't find the fish-out-of-water jokes very funny.

Yeah, that aspect was the weak point. That and I think they belabored the moral a bit. We get it, community is good.

Good episode but not spectacular.
