MLP goes film noir, and Rarity manages to be the hard-boiled private detective and the femme fatale at the same time.
The solution to the mystery is a bit obvious, but it's a fun episode all the same.

The key to enjoying the episode is to treat it less like a mystery and more like a characterization piece. That's what it feels like to me, anyway.

Same. I'm just glad we got some good interaction between RD and Rarity.

Same. I'm just glad we got some good interaction between RD and Rarity. Yeah me too. Them too don't often get paired up so it's nice when they are. This was a good episode with funny moments from both Rarity and Rainbow, who were both really cute too. Even though I knew the outcome almost right away it was still solid. It was also good to see another mystery episode in the vein of Mmmystery On The Friendship. I love the idea of them.
