The characters are definitely going to be shocked and kind of horrified at the idea at first regardless of what ages they are, but I suppose that could be a point in either direction.
If wanted to tone down the actual Persona "summoning" I could easily pick a method from one of the other games that didn't involve simulated suicide, but I do think the one I put forth is more impactful and thematic, and weirdly synergies with things that happen/ already exist in Gravity Falls.
I guess considering that it probably doesn't matter to much whether the cast is aged up or not, save what direction I would like to push the crossover.

Hey, JT: I'm working a bit more on my DJ PON-3 album review fic. So I'm wondering about some details before I include them in my stuff:
Did you have a name for that major-label producer on DJ PON-3's first album? I was thinking of naming him Auto Tune.
When Vinyl joins a smaller record label that gives her more creative control, does that mean she self-produces everything? Or does she still work with producers, but she gets to pick ones who match her own creative vision? (I'm probably just going to have my reviewer get this fact wrong, anyway.)

I'm leaving pretty much all the details intentionally vague to keep the focus on Vinyl and Octavia, so you can interpret it however you want. Personally my take was that she does eventually have other producers, but they're far more hands-off about it. Never bothered to think up a name, since I suck at naming things.

Alright. My fic about ridiculous music reviews is ready for feedback. docs.google.com/document/d/1tGOlnf-knI2CyP0pMahH9dqHTkHdyyP53SZ3m_e6t3A/edit?usp=drivesdkThe big thing I'm worried about is the self-indulgent music references. I suspect the average reader will recognize less than half of the bands I'm ponifying. But does it still work if Spilt Ink and Vinyl Scratch name-drop a bunch of musicians, and all my readers get from it is "here is a pool of shared references that both ponies understand and use to communicate"?

@meta: Okay, that was pretty good. I'm not quite into music review culture as much as you are, but it was entertaining none the less.

What did you think of Spilt Ink and his *cough cough* character growth? I don't know if he didn't change enough, or if it was too abrupt, or what.

It's kind of hard to gauge since we don't actually see him until near the end. In that sense, it feels kind of abrupt, but I'm not sure how much of it is actually the suddenness and how much of it is just skewed because we mostly only see his own perspective until near the end.
The other thing is that I'm not really in a position to give useful feedback at the moment. My brain has been fried by work this week and I spent a big chunk of today moving furniture into my new apartment, so my brain currently refuses to think too hard.
