I haven't posted in the thread in months.
The few times I've taken a peak there seems to e some new faces and a lot of conversation that is other then the topic.
I honestly feel like I probably won't post there again.

It's mostly off-topic at the moment, but I don't mind much since we haven't really gotten any new pony content to discuss anyway. That said, I haven't been posting in the pony thread quite as often because sometimes I'm not interested in the derail. I've been more active in the Homestuck thread though.

I honestly feel like I probably won't post there again. Not even when there's new content and the thread is actually on-topic for realsies?

I honestly feel like I probably won't post there again. Not even when there's new content and the thread is actually on-topic for realsies? I honestly don't think so. For one, I honestly don't think the thread even likes to stay on topic for particularly long, with conversation usually lasting the day of the episode continuing briefly into Sunday and then devolving completely into whatever the hell happened to the poster that day on Monday. Also, as that guy who is more likely to complain about a particular episode then not when pretty much everyone else usually likes it, I frankly wouldn't feel welcome there if I came back.

I personally don't mind since you usually have reasonable reasons for not liking something.
Also, you seem to use the word "honestly" a lot. At the moment, anyway.

The "honestly" thing is a habit of mine. A pretty bad one at that. I think the issue is more that I just love discussing media and FiM, and most other people on thread simply do not to the extent that I do. That's why I am ultimately thankful to Seraphem for all of the arguments we got into, because if nothing else he was one of the few people willing to really engage me an discuss with me about the show. Even if it was more often then not about how much we disagreed.

Hey, I discuss stuff in depth sometimes.

I should discuss things in more detail more often. I feel like I don't do that enough.

Well you don't have to if you don't want to. I don't want to imply that if your don't analyze things deeply then I dislike you or something.

We could have another long argument about whether or not it was cheating for Rainbow Dash to use her wings during the Iron Pony competition.

We could have another long argument about whether or not it was cheating for Rainbow Dash to use her wings during the Iron Pony competition. Actually I'm pretty sure we mostly agree on that here. Not that it's really worth talking about anyway.

TV Tropes

Seeing all the people opposed to the new look of TV Tropes, I can't help but wonder: where were all those people when Fast Eddie was actually running the site? Because back when we were actually using that old design, I don't think I heard anything but complaints about that design. If Eddie had known back then that so many people thought his kludged-together site had "personality", he probably wouldn't have burned out so fast.

Some people are afraid of change.

Mezzaphor: Yeah, back then everybody always complained about how all the buttons were in different places on each page, and how it took like three clicks to get to the forums. I'm willing to be lenient on the redesign if only because I can get to the forum with a single click rather than going through the "Workshops" subforum first.
