That's nice! I'll be watching it with my dad. Shame about the early start tomorrow though.

The game ends in a tie 2-2 for USA and Portugal. At the last possible second Portugal ties the game.
The last game is against Germany. I am not confident.

I'm more disappointed then anxious.
I think we really are done.

I wish I could offer words of encouragement but this is Germany we're talking about. It's a big ask.

Yeah, I think we're toast at this point. I guess we could pull off an upset, but the chances are slim.

Well, on the bright side we technically don't have to win against Germany to advance. We would only need to draw.
In fact we could still lose and advance depending on how Ghana and Portugal's game go.
If nothing else this group is living up to it's reputation, since unlike other groups everything is still up in the air and all thhe matches will actually matter for the most part.

That's true. A draw is not out of the question, but it is a tough ask.
At least you performed better than Spain and England though.

Hey, if the Ghanaians could do it I think our chances are decent. . .maybe.
Speaking of Spain they are playing now against Australia. . .if they some how manage to lose this match. . .I just don't know.
Either way I'm not going to bother with that and instead watch the Netherlands and Chile.

There's no shame to losing to Germany. Seriously, they're football playing machines.

True, but what we still want to advance.
Also, I'm fairly certain that after the US is eliminated most people in the country who are watching will stop. It's always been said that that is one of the things that is keeping Association Football from being more popular in the states, lack of big achievements from our teams (or at least our men's teams).
