I really need to get around to picking up these things.

I was to get issue 26 today but of course comixology isn't working for me again.

Well, the comics seem to be an endless stream of controversy these days
So I wonder how everyone here feels about the fact that in the latest comics (please highlight if you want to read) it turns out that the Everfree forest is essentially Mirkwood, complete with elven society in the form of deer (all kinds of deer in fact) and it turns out that they are the ones making the Everfree forest crazy because the forest is being turned into, basically Six Flags over Everfree. Also the Mane Six are siding with the Deer since the project is run by genric corrupt business man #28166, who happens to be a Minotaur.
Honestly most of this doesn't make sense in the show canon, but I can't help but hope some of the worldbuilding transfers over to the show, but definitely not all (or even most) of it.

I'm surprised at this bit also kind of glad too. I have to get caught up immediately.

That's a cool concept but it makes very little sense because in canon, pretty much all the ponies are terrified of the Everfree.

Does this break the magic of Everfree, if you get my meaning?

It's arguable that it was already broken before, what with ponies seeming to go in and out of it like it's all good.
What makes this make little sense is just the Deer being there. It raises way to many questions.

In this preview, we have so so much interesting new stuff! I've just bought all the comics to get caught up. I'll read them tomorrow. EDIT: Also, pony police sirens! I had that idea too ages ago back in the heydays of the Ponyville Police fanon building we did.

In this preview, we have so so much interesting new stuff! The preview reads like what "Dragon Quest" should have been. Perhaps Luna could have saved it.

The Dragon town sounds nice and all, but I want to know what's up with the Pre-Equestrian Zealots, Zebra Queens and the Plains, and Half-Dragon creatures.

So I read Friends Forever #13, and it was pretty good. It was good to see more of Manehatten, and the interactions between Rarity and Babs was good. I can't help but feel that we had this moral with Rarity before though. I'm sure I've seen it before. It's still a good story though.
I didn't get the name of the awesome roller skate sport though. Was it in the story?

Roller derby sounds good enough for me.
