Yeah, I think it works fine.

Thanks guys. I have to work on the proportions (compare my effort to AJ and see how off it is) but it's already got my imagination fired up again. Seriously, I've got like a page of ideas already!

But seriously, just draw whatever. As long as you're doing it regularly, you'll improve.

That's true. Y'know, even if I ever got around to writing, at least the characters can exist through drawings, which is something. Not much, but something.

Trixie seems slightly surprised/unsure about the Derpy acquiring this pine cone.
It's decent piece though.

I like it, Apple! Trixie seems slightly surprised/unsure about the Derpy acquiring this pine cone. It's decent piece though. You know, it works in context. In my fanfic, Derpy is the one who introduces Trixie to eating pinecones.

I'm happy to hear that.

So recently I produced a rough human Rarity pic: As you can no doubt tell, the hair was a lot harder to get right than the body.

You wouldn't be the first to be tripped up by Rarity's hair from what I have heard and seen.

It's the curls, and the fact that you can't really straight up copy it in human form because it dosen't look right. Once again I gave up and straight up copied her EG hair style.

Most of the pony manes are somewhat realistic in that they're a narrow strip of hair on the top of the head and down the back of the neck. Copying that directly onto a human body would look weird, like a mohawk or Skrillex's hair.
