The ones I can recall off the top of my head:
Cheerilee and Big Mac become a couple after the Love Poison fiasco.
A long time ago, Earth Pony platoons could march in unison to create earthquakes, and Earth Pony shamans could summon thorny plants as a defensive wall.
Discord and Celestia used to be a couple.
And pretty much the entirety of the Slice of Life tumblr.

Carrot Cake has a brother who works as a janitor, and his name is Urinal. ...I'm sorry. ...

My own personal headcanon about Cheerilee and Big Macintosh is that they used to date, but decided that they were better off as friends. Their previous relationship is something of an inside joke to them.

On pony magic:
Magic is produced by every living tissue of the body as a product of cellular metabolism. This magic then flows via ley lines into the pony's channeling organ(s), which differ(s) from tribe to tribe. For unicorns, it's their horn. For pegasi, it's primarily their wings (flight magic) and secondarily their hooves (weather manipulation). For earth ponies, it's their hooves and tail (earth manipulation, increased dexterity) and their skeletal and muscular systems (STRENGTH).
The majority of most ponies' magic doesn't get used at all, and just radiates out as ambient magic.
Foals occasionally get their ley lines misaligned. For example, young Ditzy Doo was the last pegasus in her class to figure out how to fly, because the magic that should have gone to her wings was shooting out her tail instead. Magic therapy exists to solve these problems. It basically consists of getting the foal to un-learn their bad channeling habits, then relaxing them enough to make the ley lines reform properly.
Certain esoteric exercises exist to increase a pony's magical power, but "cheating" the system doesn't work at all. Some ponies reasoned that "Magic is made by cells, therefore more cells means more magic!" and bulked up. Their magic production per cell then dropped, so their total magic output remained exactly the same as before. Another unicorn scholar devised a spell to block the leakage of ambient magic, reasoning that it would let him cast more powerful spells. He did succeed in building up a bigger internal reservoir of magic, but it didn't help at all: the size of a spell he could cast was determined solely by his horn's ability to channel.

You wouldn't mind if I used some of this excellent head canon would you Mezza? Also, I have a theory that ponies do use pounds of gold for large denominations like we did in the olden days. So far in the show we've only seen bits because they were buying small things. But you don't buy a house with bits...you buy it with gold bars.

No problem.
Since real-life bits in the US were descended from pieces-of-eight, an eight of a Spanish doubloon, I wonder if Equestrians also have doubloons and use them for larger transactions.

They must have something similar. You couldn't carry that many bits around.

Pinkie Pie has a huge record collection, consisting of anything that anyone anywhere considers "party music". Pop, big band swing, techno, mariachi, Turkish wedding music. But on the rare occasions when she's working by herself, Pinkie's favorite music to listen to is completely undanceable electronic music.

That must be the case! Is it weird that I was touched by how much effort and planning she puts into her parties? That pony has a heart of gold! Well they all do.

Nah, it's not that weird, it's just a typical case of Pinkie going as far as she can to make everyone happy. Granted, it might be a bit too far, but it's Pinkie so that's to be expected.
